Pedal and nature are an antidote to the stress of the week

Bike groups are a reality in all Brazilian cities. They started shyly in the 90s and today they form a legion recognized on the streets for their varied bike models, colors and uniforms. There are a multitude of groups, names and goals, but they all share the pedal as a means to an end. Whether it's covering the most kilometers, competing or simply getting away from the routine of work.

One of Dynamics employees, Joatan Porsch, sees cycling on weekends as an opportunity to live with nature and renew energy for the challenges of everyday life. Joatan is a member of the SEM RUMO bike group, which has Dynamics as one of its supporters.

SEM RUMO has existed informally for ten years, being officially baptized in August 2017. The group usually meets on weekends, holidays or whenever the members’ schedule allows, aiming to “cycle as far as possible” and deciding the destination in the nick of time, without a pre-defined schedule. According to Joatan, this premise honors the name of the group.

So far, the philosophy of “as far as possible” has taken the athletes to Florianópolis – SC, but the plans are to reach greater distances, even internationally. For these larger journeys, cyclists rely on their inseparable support group, made up of friends and family. With the group's anniversary date approaching, SEM RUMO plans a special “birthday ride” for the month of August.
