6th CIC Innovation Forum - Caxias do Sul

With the theme of Sustainability in an Economic-Financial and Production Vision, the 6th Innovation Forum took place on May 4 at the Chamber of Industry, Commerce and Services of Caxias do Sul at the initiative of its Project and Innovation Directorate. Again with the partnership of the Local Productive Arrangement (APL) Metalmechanic and Automotive from Serra Gaúcha and the Ítalo Victor Bersani Institute, the 2015 edition had the presence of renowned consultants as speakers.

The Doctor Dante Lago - Safety and Environment Manager at Volvo Brazil – started the event with the theme "Rethinking the Future", within the panel "Innovation with Eco-efficiency". Then, on the same panel, Eduardo Baltar de Souza Leão - Director of Ecofinance Business spoke on the “Zero Carbon Program of Acumulators and Moura Batteries”.

In the following panel, Gelson Alfredo Dalberto – Industrial Director of Suspensys and Castertech Foundry addressed the topic “Suspensys and Castertech Foundry“. Concluding the cases, the coordinator of the Recycling Production Chain Management Committee, Alfredo Francisco Rodrigues Paim focused on “Solid Urban Waste (MSW) in Caxias do Sul - a look from the Committee”.

Part of the Forum's program, the lunch meeting presented the theme "Innovation in the Automotive Sector: eco-efficiency and positive consumer experience", conducted by the Engineering Director of Ford South America, Marcio Alfonso.

Dynamics was involved as a supporter of the event, contemplating the importance of innovation for the business market. Mr. Fabio Manzato – Director of Projects and Innovation at CIC and General Manager at Dynamics emphasized that the cases presented serve as benchmarking for companies in the Serra Gaúcha and that it is a privilege to be able to exchange experiences with executives of such relevance in the South American scenario.
